Overview
The Salesforce Global Controllership team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead strategic initiatives to modernize and optimize our Controllership and Finance organization through driving efficiency and process innovation. You will be responsible for overseeing the transformation of financial processes, the integration and adoption of cutting-edge AI and agentic technologies, and enabling our teams with the tools and skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of finance operations and a proven track record of leading and driving projects. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership across finance, IT, and business operations to align on priorities and deliver on our vision for the future of finance and accounting at a technology first multi-national company.
Lead the strategy and execution of complex finance transformation programs, including process re-engineering and technology implementation. Champion the use of AI-powered automation and intelligent agents to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the Controllership and Finance organization. Drive the continuous improvement of reporting processes, leveraging advanced analytics tools to provide deeper insights into financial performance and support strategic decision making. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement and automation. Develop and implement change management and communication plans to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies. Serve as a subject matter expert on best practices in finance transformation, enablement, and technology. Collaborate with team members across the business, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement change management and communication plans to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
Serve as a subject matter expert on best practices in finance transformation, enablement, and technology.
Collaborate with team members across the business, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience. MBA, CPA or advanced degree is a plus. Experience will be evaluated based on the Core Competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
8+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on finance transformation, process improvement, or strategy.
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale finance projects. Experience at a large publicly traded company or major consulting firm preferred.
Understanding of SOX and Compliance frameworks for publicly traded companies.
Deep expertise in financial systems, analytics and technology. Experience with Workday Financials, Salesforce, and Tableau is a plus.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week in Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA.
