Marwood Group is a leading healthcare advisory and research firm headquartered in New York City, with offices in Washington, D.C., and London. Our Performance Improvement (PI) Practice partners with institutional investors and healthcare organizations to drive value creation and strategic transformation initiatives across the healthcare ecosystem, including revenue optimization, operational excellence, and corporate development support. We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our PI Practice as a Vice President. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and results-driven leader with deep expertise in healthcare operations and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and a demonstrated ability to lead RCM transformation engagements. As a Vice President, you will lead engagements that support both private equity sponsors and corporate clients across the healthcare ecosystem. You will be responsible for advising on acquisition diligence and integration, identifying and executing against value creation and performance improvement opportunities, and delivering measurable results. You will also manage project teams and executive-level client relationships, contribute to business development and practice growth, and help further enhance Marwood’s service offerings. Your project portfolio is anticipated to focus on RCM, while also spanning across related functions (e.g., IT, operations, and finance) in line with Marwood’s integrated approach to performance improvement and value creation. Key Responsibilities

Lead complex RCM engagements and diligence assessments Collaboratively support execution across the PI Practice’s offerings Manage day-to-day interactions for C-suite executives, navigating stakeholder dynamics Deliver market-leading results under high-pressure conditions, including impacts to EBITDA, net collections, cash acceleration, cost to collect, and organizational scalability Practice Enablement

Own project success including client outcomes and resource utilization Set clear goals and roles within project teams and foster communication Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting a culture of feedback and growth Develop tools and methodologies to standardize and enhance service offerings Manage new proposal development including work plans, staffing, and budgeting Qualifications

8 years of professional experience in healthcare operations and strategic execution 2 years of experience at a leading consulting firm Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver measurable client impact Strong understanding of healthcare finance, operations, and regulatory landscape Deep understanding of RCM processes and revenue enhancement Familiarity with payor contracting negotiation and RCM interdependencies is preferred Experience with EMR/billing systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) Expertise in Excel and financial modeling, as well as claims analytics Excellent communication and leadership skills Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA) Willingness and ability to travel as needed Compensation is a salary commensurate with experience plus discretionary annual performance bonus and benefits package.
