Insurance Coverage Attorney
with a minimum of five years of experience preferred. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit. This position offers a possible reduced billable-hour requirement and a flexible schedule. The candidate should have experience handling insurance coverage disputes in the commercial insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation, including conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, taking depositions, participating in mediation, and communicating with clients. Candidates will also have experience representing clients in insurance coverage matters, including reviewing commercial insurance policies, drafting coverage evaluations and reservation of rights letters, and communicating with clients regarding coverage issues and positions. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials and writing skills, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate sound judgment, the ability to manage multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and actions. Candidates should have an active Wisconsin bar license or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
