Overview

Gilead is seeking an Associate Director, Commercial Analytics, Integrated Insights HIV. The role focuses on leveraging data and analytics to inform brand strategy, performance tracking, and actionable insights within HIV therapies. Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Brand Performance Tracking: Develop data-based insights to inform brand, franchise, and business unit strategy and execution. Lead performance/KPI development and reporting to understand brand performance and opportunities using diverse inputs. Collaborate with brand marketing leadership to establish an annual business analytics plan. Leverage data and analytics to develop key insights informing the brand’s strategy and tactical plan. Conduct analytics projects addressing business issues (e.g., patient journey analytics, treatment flow analytics, customer segmentation). Conduct performance reporting and diagnostics, including design and implementation of HQ-facing dashboards and reports. Evaluate potential new secondary data sources and analytics methodologies to continually elevate impact of business analytics. Actionable Insights

Integrate insights from various sources to inform material decisions with robust opportunities and market context. Consolidate data into actionable brand opportunities. Provide objective quantitative analyses and lead the development of business cases to determine key opportunities for the brand and/or Therapeutic Area. Collaborate within the department to ensure analytics context is integrated into Tactic Measurement and Marketing Mix, informing Forecasting and opportunities to integrate AI/Predictive Analytics capabilities. Stakeholder & People Management

Interact with internal customers across levels (e.g., VP, executive directors, marketing, IT). Establish and maintain business relationships with key segments of the Commercial organization; understand internal customers’ business needs. Act as a cross-functional subject matter expert and advise on decisions impacting business operations. Lead quarterly functional reviews with VP/Senior Director stakeholders to share insights on business, brand, and market issues. Manage projects and activities of direct reports (up to 1–2). Coach, mentor, and develop key individual contributors; manage relationships with stakeholder groups in Marketing and Commercial operations. Manage external consulting resources from a project delivery perspective. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree with 8+ years OR PhD with 2+ years. Preferred Qualifications

Advanced analytics and people management skills. 10 years of experience managing projects, initiatives, and people. MBA or Master’s degree preferred with concentration in healthcare, general management, analytics, or data sciences. HIV pharma experience is highly desirable. Ability to synthesize insights from diverse sources and develop strategic guidance for brand teams that leads to business actions. Strong business and marketing acumen with excellent communication; consultative background preferred. Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills; ability to gain consensus in a matrix environment; capable of collaborative influence to drive action. Proficiency in secondary data analysis with knowledge of data sources (e.g., IQVIA, SHA). Strong working knowledge of software (MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Salary range: $195,670.00 – $253,220.00. Compensation varies by experience, qualifications, and location. This position may be eligible for discretionary bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and a benefits package.
