Sr Manager, Commercial Analytics, Integrated Insights (HIV)

As the Senior Manager, Integrated Insights Analytics and Forecasting, you will be responsible for managing the tasks, activities, and people supporting one or more therapeutic areas within the HIV business unit. This role currently has no direct reports but could have people management (up to 1–2) responsibilities in the future. The role involves managing projects of significant complexity requiring cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Brand Performance Tracking: Lead development of data-based insights to inform brand, franchise, and business unit strategy and execution. Oversee, set agenda, and provide support and guidance to the team, including leading performance/KPI development and reporting to understand brand performance and opportunities. Collaborate with brand marketing leadership to establish an annual business analytics plan for each brand. Leverage data and analytics to develop key insights to inform each brand’s strategy through the Brand Plan of Action (BPOA) process. Conduct analytics projects to inform a range of business issues (e.g., HCP and patient segmentation, customer journey and treatment flow analytics, sampling strategy and analytics). Develop HQ-facing dashboards and reports for performance reporting and diagnostics. Evaluate potential new secondary data sources and analytics methodologies to elevate impact continually. Actionable Insights: Lead integration of insight and analysis from multiple sources to inform material decisions and deliver robust opportunities and market context. Provide objective quantitative analyses and develop business cases to determine key opportunities and address critical business issues for the brand and/or therapeutic area. Collaborate to ensure analytics context is integrated into Tactic Measurement and Marketing Mix work to inform Forecasting; identify opportunities to integrate AI/Predictive Analytics Lab capabilities. Stakeholder Management: Interact with a broad range of internal customers (VPs, executive directors, marketing teams, IT) and establish strong business relationships within the Commercial organization. Lead quarterly functional reviews with key leaders to share insights on business, brand, and market issues. Manage relationships with key stakeholder groups in Marketing and Commercial operations; oversee external consulting resources for project delivery. Knowledge, Experience and Skills: Strong analytics and people management skills; 3–5 years’ experience managing projects, initiatives, and people. Pharmaceutical or consumer data analytics/insights experience required. MBA or Master’s degree preferred with concentrations in healthcare, general management, analytics, or data sciences. Ability to pull together insights to guide strategic decisions; strong business and marketing acumen; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a matrix environment; proficiency in secondary data analysis (e.g., IMS, WK, IPSOS) and software (Excel, Tableau, Word, PowerPoint). Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years’ experience OR Master’s Degree and 6 years’ experience OR PhD and 2 years’ experience. Salary range for this position: $169,320.00 – $219,120.00. Gilead considers various factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. This role may be eligible for discretionary annual bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and a benefits package.
