Based in Mumbai, India, you will drive sales into commercial and mid-market accounts across India for Cloudflare's solutions. Your strategic selling activities will include hunter-type outreach to target named accounts, detailed account planning, focused relationship building, and leading effective sales campaigns to closure. You will develop and execute a Sales strategy/plan for assigned verticals or accounts and drive large account sales into India to achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a major account sales background in technology solutions (primarily software), enabling engagement with senior decision makers. Industry experience in Digital Natives, IT/ITES, Retail and other Enterprise verticals, along with Service Provider experience, is desired. Responsibilities
As an Account Executive, you will: Develop and execute a Sales strategy/plan for assigned verticals or accounts and drive large account sales into India to achieve revenue targets. Maintain a strong network of decision-makers in enterprise accounts across the region and sell complex Cloudflare solutions with compelling value propositions. Lead contract negotiations and manage a sales pipeline. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts. Travel up to 50% as required. Qualifications and desirable skills
Bachelor's degree required Fluent in English Relevant direct experience, track record, and relationships within corporate enterprise accounts in the India market Minimum 8-10 years of direct B2B selling experience, preferably with internet accounts Direct experience selling network security and/or CDN / Application Security solutions and services Prior experience being part of an early sales team driving traction in the India market for a US-based SaaS company is highly preferred Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles Basic understanding of computer networking and how the Internet works Aptitude for learning technical concepts; background in engineering, computer science, or MIS is a plus Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment What makes Cloudflare special
