Overview
Sr BioProduction Account Manager (Massachusetts) – Thermo Fisher Scientific Work Schedule: Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions: Office Remotely based in Massachusetts. Territory: Massachusetts. Join our Commercial team with an unmatched depth of capabilities and help our customers solve some of the world’s toughest challenges. The BioProduction Account Manager supports the BioProduction Division portfolio, providing biotechnology and biopharmaceutical customers with integrated solutions across the bioprocessing workflow. Our technologies include Cell Culture, Production Chemicals, Chromatography, Pharma Analytics, and Single-Use Technologies. Responsibilities will involve selling Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Bioproduction product portfolio, including Single-Use Technologies Hardware and Consumables, Cell Culture, Purification, Pharma Analytics, and Production Chemicals within the assigned territory, with support from technical sales specialist teams. Remotely based in Massachusetts; territory is Massachusetts. Responsibilities
Works independently on daily activity in accordance with the sales activity plan. Routinely engages technical sales specialists from supporting product-focused teams and receives guidance from product management in special sales situations. Maintains current customer base while actively developing new process opportunities to build a strong pipeline of projects for future growth. Coordinates custom projects by interfacing with internal processes across BPD functional groups to ensure divisional alignment, project accuracy, and execution. Meets sales quotas and manages expense targets for the assigned territory. Utilizes effective sales strategies and negotiation techniques to proactively identify opportunities and respond to customer needs with innovative solutions. Drives growth using territory planning and account planning skills. Holds weekly discussions with the sales manager regarding territory activity and to resolve outstanding sales situations. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Marketing, or equivalent 5+ years of selling into the Life Sciences or healthcare market or related industry experience Ability to discuss and support product and application requirements across the bioprocessing workflow and engage technical specialists early and often to showcase Thermo Fisher capabilities Positive approach to collaboration and problem solving, both internally and in customer engagements Ability to develop and maintain solid relationships with accounts within the territory Strong analytical skills to analyze territory sales data and technical information Ability to perform independently and as part of a team Experience with SFDC CRM Job function
