Job Summary: Implements the Welcome Baby program. Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes the hospital, other Welcome Baby sites in the community, local Best Start Partnership(s), First 5 LA, and the Family Strengthening Oversight Entity. Responsibilities

Oversees and monitors program to ensure standardized implementation, including adherence to protocols, policies, procedures and documentation. Assists in maintaining and improving the quality of the program by ensuring that the following is conducted by clinical supervisor or parent coach supervisor as appropriate. Bi-monthly group reflective supervision, weekly individual reflective supervision of home visitation staff, periodic shadowing of staff on home visits and regular chart reviews to ensure the accurate collection of data and completion of all client documentation in a timely & organized manner. Monitors progress in achieving programmatic goals and objectives within the scope of work. Prepares quarterly and year-end reports. Collaborates with the oversight entity and First 5 LA to assist with data and evaluation needs. Monitors program implementation for ongoing problems and barriers and identifies possible solutions. Works closely with other local providers to develop a comprehensive referral network and track any barriers to clients being able to access needed services. Assists with fiscal monitoring of program and help formulate annual budget and needed budget modifications throughout the year. Supervises program staff, including clinical supervisor and outreach specialists. Conducts monthly staff meetings to address and obtain feedback on program updates, needs, challenges, and outcomes. Participates in twice monthly group reflective supervision facilitated by the clinical supervisor. Works closely with clinical supervisor to assess ongoing needs for staff training and to identify internal or external professional development activities. Participates in local community meetings and develop relationships with providers and community organizations to enhance partnerships and collaboration as appropriate. Shares key program data with partners and other stakeholders on a quarterly basis, including outcomes, demographics, and enrollment information. Establishes a relationship and visibility for the program with key personnel at the hospital, including labor and delivery, couplet care, NICU and social work staff. Collaborates with First 5 LA and oversight entity in marketing efforts. Works closely with the outreach specialist to monitor and improve prenatal outreach, acceptance and enrollment. Provides time for staff to attend periodic peer to peer workshops, webinars and conference calls; and Welcome Baby and home visitation regional meetings. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in child development, social work, psychology, human development, public health or related field or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required Master\'s Degree in public health, public administration, early childhood development, social work or nursing: Preferred Seven years\' of program implementation and administrative supervision experience: Preferred Three years\' experience working in maternal and child health; Two years\' experience in home visitation: Preferred Completes Welcome Baby training required for Director within one year of hire: Required Facility Specific License/Certifications Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required Organizational Requirements
