Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Burlingame, CA (Zip: 94010) – California nursing jobs Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 – End: 2/2/2026) Shifts: 4x10-hour shifts/week (Day: 06:45–15:45, Mid: 13:45–23:45) Hours per Week: 40 Weekend Coverage: Required Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2490-$2670 Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Charting System: Epic Orientation: 8 hours onsite, modules completed during orientation Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active California RN license (required at time of submission) BLS (AHA) certification ACLS certification Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (orthopedics, vascular, robotic surgery) Scrub nurse experience required Travel nursing experience required Charge nurse experience required Epic charting experience preferred CNOR certification preferred Community hospital experience required All certifications must be in hand at time of submission Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
Assess, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients in the OR Provide direct patient care and patient/family education Develop and implement individualized care plans considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, patients, and families for optimal outcomes Scrub and circulate for a wide range of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, vascular, and robotic cases Maintain safety and infection control standards in the operating room Document patient care using Epic charting system Participate in orientation and complete required modules Apply now
