Perform Disability Assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform focused, in-person physical examinations for each Veteran. Electronically document exam findings required by the VA through the web portal. Recognize that the VA makes all disability determinations; this role does not make determinations and does not treat or prescribe medications. Conduct 3–5 Disability Assessments per day in a clinical setting. Qualifications
Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (NCCPA accredited). Ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete the VA questionnaire and form medical opinions. Proficient computer skills and effective time management. Requirements
Must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA license (NCCPA accredited). Schedule & Location
This is a full-time, in-person position:
Mon-Fri, 8:00 am–5:00 pm . Benefits
