Operations Research Analyst (multiple levels) at Guidehouse. What You Will Do
This team member is supporting a U.S. Federal Law Enforcement agency by collecting, analyzing, and reporting the results of open-source intelligence. This team member will identify trends, patterns, and links to criminal activity by extracting and aggregating data from government, public, proprietary, and commercial databases across industries such as business, financial, court, news, social media, cyber, trade, travel, shipping, transportation, crime, property, law enforcement, communications, supply chain, geolocation, blockchain, patent, education, and more. The team member will apply mathematical, quantitative, qualitative, and repeatable analytical methods to optimize research results and prepare detailed, actionable reports and presentations that support screening and vetting, lead development, and criminal analysis. Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred. Bachelor's Degree THREE (3) or more years of experience using government, public, proprietary, and/or commercial databases to collect, analyze, and report on U.S. and international data, with at least THREE (3) years of experience in law enforcement, defense, and/or the intelligence community, and THREE (3) years of experience aggregating open-source data and leveraging link analysis and/or data visualization tools to optimize the presentation of quantitative and qualitative results. What Would Be Nice To Have
Specialized knowledge of methods, techniques and subject matter analysis applied to Federal investigations, plus skills in researching, collecting, and analyzing large amounts of raw data from various criminal investigative tools and other client-owned databases Experience gathering information from BSA, law enforcement, open source, and/or dark web data sources and creating detailed products for the law enforcement community Understanding of criminal activity such as Forfeiture, Organized Crime, White Collar Crime, Fraud, Drug, and Financial/Money Laundering Knowledge of financial crimes participating agency structures, functions, sources, and types of records Experience conducting cryptocurrency tracing using blockchain tools to evaluate transaction data and unravel interconnections between wallets and real-world identities Experience delivering link analysis, data visualization, and dashboard reports via tools such as i2 Analyst, Palantir, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Spotfire, or similar Salary
The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. What We Offer
