Overview
North Center, Chicago Preschool is looking for an organized and welcoming Center Director to join our administrative team. We have worked hard to create a warm work environment and we are looking for a leader that can embrace our philosophy and community and continue to grow with us. The ideal candidate is someone who has at least 2 years of administrative experience in an Early Childhood Center, can connect with new and current families, meet all licensing requirements, and can inspire and guide a group of motivated Teachers.
Responsibilities
The Center Director role is primarily responsible for enrollment, teacher onboarding and management, and providing a nurturing, safe and educational environment featuring our curriculum.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the center.
Qualifications
Must meet all requirements of DCFS Director Qualification: Applicants must have a degree in Early Childhood -or- have 64 college semester credits of General Education, 21 ECE college semester credits, either a Gateways to Opportunity Level I Illinois Director Credential or 3 semester hours of college credit or 3 points of credential approved training in administration, leadership or management.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role in an early childhood center
CPR/First Aid Infant and Child (must be current)
Food Manager certificate a plus

Monday-Friday shifts between 7-6:30pm
Salary $55,000+ Depending on experience
