Hiring Department Advancement Job Description As a part of the Advancement of Donor Engagement at the University of Missouri, the Director of Donor Engagement and Events oversees all university and healthcare donor events. The Director of Donor Engagement and Events and their team curate unforgettable experiences and build lasting connections to inspire our donors to support the University of Missouri. Key Responsibilities: Leads a team that plans and executes events ranging in size and scope from smaller, more intimate donor events to larger galas and football and basketball suite activities. The team is responsible for all aspects, including planning, logistics, vendor relationships, invitation lists/tracking, communication, and follow-up. Utilize data and analytics to measure the success of donor relations and event effects and adjust strategies accordingly. Staff liaison to the Jefferson Club Board of Trustees committee, which provides input on donor engagement, including the largest donor engagement event of the year, Donor Recognition Weekend. Since 1839, and as Missouri's only state-supported member of the Association of American Universities, the University of Missouri (MU) has been engaged in groundbreaking research and comprehensive academics that define its strength as a higher education institution. Today, MU supports 31,103 students in 300+ degree programs, including 97 undergraduate majors, 96 master\'s degrees, 69 doctoral degrees, and over 70 certificates. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Capital Campaign Events Experience in Higher Education or Health Care Background in Health Care, Advancement, or Stewardship Anticipated Hiring Range
