Customer data domain is critical to drive customer insights and marketing strategies powered by data from our store, digital, CRM, Martech, and other sources. As a Customer and Marketing Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of end-to-end data lifecycle for the customer domain data solution, from data ingestion to building data pipelines (both upstream and downstream integrations). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, data & analytics, and operations, to define and execute against a roadmap that aligns with the product’s overall objectives. In this role you will solve problems around linking customer data across channels, building a customer 360 solution, driving self-service analytics and reporting, and powering complex analytical modeling. Responsibilities
Data Product Strategy: Partner with Business teams, Data Platform Engineering, Data Science, other cross-functional teams, and other product teams to develop and manage UDP’s customer data strategy that incorporates product vision and goals, with an objective to drive value through agile product management principles Roadmap Planning: Translate data strategy into a roadmap containing well-defined and prioritized capabilities, features and enablers that will realize the product’s vision through incremental value creation for both Inspire and its franchisees Initiatives and Epics Definition and Prioritization: Define and document key initiatives, detailed Epics, with clear prioritization approach for driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring clear path for execution by engineering and other teams Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while driving consensus and execution across all aspects of product lifecycle; participate in planning and provide progress updates to stakeholders, managing disagreements and conflicts Acceptance Testing and Support: Conduct self-testing post development, and execute/support User Acceptance Testing before feature deployment OKR Management/Performance Monitoring: Own development of Team OKRs while monitoring and updating progress; drive accountability across stakeholders through relevant metrics Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Ensure all documentation and artifacts are up to date and accurate; partner with Product Analyst to deliver on committed work Education And Experience Qualifications
Minimum: 4-Year Degree Preferred MBA 5 years experience in Product management working on data platforms or related technology solutions 3 years experience as a team leader 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager with proven expertise in understanding customer and marketing data domain and models to power analytics and reporting Deep understanding of CRM, CDP, consent management, campaign management, and how data from these systems integrate to enable personalization and marketing activation Strong SQL skills to complement analytics and engineering needs and continuous analysis Strong experience working with engineering and data architecture teams on customer data pipelines, APIs, event streaming, and large-scale system integrations Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, GA4) Working knowledge of data governance, identity resolution, consent management, and compliance frameworks Understanding of machine learning concepts, especially around customer segmentation, and marketing models Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex datasets into actionable insights and influence roadmap decisions through data-driven prioritization Proven ability to collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Data Science teams to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions Clear and persuasive communicator with strong documentation, presentation, and influencing capabilities across both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience working in matrixed organizations, driving consensus across diverse stakeholders, and balancing competing priorities Demonstrated ability to deliver results in ambiguous environments, with a bias toward action and measurable business impact Experience in global or multi-regional environments is a must About Inspire
