The Hershey Company is looking for a technical Senior Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the technology that enables customer sales optimization capabilities. This role requires working closely with cross-functional technical teams and leaders from functions including strategic revenue growth management, planning, sales, category management, and marketing. Build a clear vision and multi-year roadmap to drive execution and deliver tangible business value. Responsibilities
Develop and communicate, in partnership with business stakeholders, the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for customer sales optimization including trade technologies. Partner with cross-functional IS teams on a holistic strategy for Trade & customer sales capabilities and collaborate with product owners to ensure a clear understanding of requirements. Continuously collect and analyze data and product feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement. Lead the design and implementation of KPIs to monitor product performance. Collaborate with IS team to ensure product scalability, compliance, and integration with Hershey’s Enterprise Data & Platform environments. Commit with stakeholders on incremental value delivered through customer sales optimization products (e.g., increased net sales, cost optimization). Provide input throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance. Enforce agile methodologies, participate in sprint planning, manage the backlog, and guide enterprise prioritization processes, in partnership with Transformation and Cross-functional Portfolio Managers. Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management. Experience building and overseeing technology and analytics products. Strong business/stakeholder relationship management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities; able to start with ambiguous scenarios and drive a clear problem statement that articulates value through technology enablement. Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making. Ability to write clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria and technical documentation. Ability to align product strategy with long-term business goals. Business fundamentals including financial management, metrics, business process management, customer centricity, and problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of sales, category management, trade promotion management, trade promotion analytics & optimization technologies is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, analytics, mathematics, or a STEM-related field. Seniority level
