We are looking for a talented CNC Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, optimizing, and troubleshooting CNC machining operations (3-axis, 5-axis, and horizontal machines). You will work closely with machinists and engineers to translate blueprints and CAD models into precise CNC programs, select tools and setups, and enhance machining strategies to achieve both efficiency and quality. Responsibilities

Program and optimize 3-axis, 5-axis, and horizontal CNC machines to produce high-precision parts Develop, test, and refine CNC programs (CAM or manual G-code) for milling and turning equipment Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings Select appropriate tools, fixturing, setups, speeds, and feeds to maximize efficiency and quality Simulate toolpaths, troubleshoot potential collisions, and ensure safe/efficient machining Collaborate with machinists and engineers to streamline production processes and reduce cycle times Verify dimensional accuracy of first-run parts; adjust programs as needed Maintain documentation for programs, tooling, and setup sheets Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process, tooling, and quality enhancements Follow safety standards and adhere to quality/production procedures (ISO or customer-specific) Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience (3-axis, 5-axis, and horizontal preferred) Proficiency in CNC programming with strong knowledge of G-code and machine operation Skilled in CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360 preferred) Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and setup practices Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Experience in high-mix, low-volume precision manufacturing Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes What We Offer
