Financial Analyst

position. This position may be filled remotely, or in any of our locations. The

Financial Analyst

is responsible for providing financial and analytical support for the firm. Essential functions include: Prepare, analyze and distribute financial and statistical reports. Use Structured Query Language (SQL) to mine data from various databases. Produce customized reports from databases to extract and collect data according to internal and external client needs. Compare internal financial and statistical ratios with industry averages and trends. Provide trend, variance analysis and projections based on internal statistics. Detailed statistical analysis of Firm, SBU, clients or timekeepers. Assist with preparation of the Firm’s annual budget. Provide budget variance analyses for various departments and/or accounts. Provide ongoing profitability analytics, including timely and accurate financial information to support the Firm’s strategic goals. Evaluate, propose, and deliver efficiencies. Create SSRS reports. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements 2-year degree required; 4-year degree preferred. 3-5 years’ relevant financial analysis experience required, preferably in a professional services environment. Robust analytical skills and ability to utilize computer systems and related tools, including business intelligence, profitability and accounting software. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel) SQL proficiency preferred. Report Writing (SSRS) and/or Dashboard development experience preferred. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows: State of California: $73,000 - $140,000 State of Colorado: $67,000 - $120,000 State of Illinois: $66,000 - $128,000 State of Massachusetts: $73,000 - $140,000 State of Maryland: $71,000 - $107,000 State of Minnesota: $73,000 - $121,000 Jersey City, NJ: $79,000 - $144,000 State of New York: $68,000 - $147,000 State of Vermont: $72,000 - $139,000 State of Washington: $71,000 - $135,000 Washington, D.C.: $94,000 - $139,000 The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus; however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
