Permanent Litigation Associate role with experience in personal injury, trucking and transportation, motor vehicle accidents, medical transportation, auto dealership defense, products liability, and catastrophic injuries. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal field. Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial. Develop and execute litigation strategies with an eye toward resolution or trial. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation. Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of litigation, or legal rights and obligations. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in areas of personal injury, trucking and transportation, motor vehicle accidents, medical transportation, auto dealership defense, products liability, and catastrophic injuries. Conduct legal research and analysis of law sources such as statutes, legal articles, and legal codes to prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, etc., for trial, administrative proceedings and other actions. Qualifications
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar. Minimum 2 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury, trucking and transportation, motor vehicle accidents, medical transportation, auto dealership defense, products liability, and catastrophic injuries. Proven record of strong performance in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality. Strong organization, document management, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
