Study Coordinator at Proctor Foundation, UCSF — Full Time position (Job Code 86222BR). Location: San Francisco, CA, Mission Bay campus. Fully On-Site, Days shift, 8 hours (M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm). The final salary and offer components are subject to UC policy. Salary range is $52,800 - $112,000 annual. Placement within the range depends on work experience and internal equity; for union-represented positions, rules in the collective bargaining agreement apply. Responsibilities
The incumbent will work on projects or segments of projects with limited scope and complexity, including: Maintain up-to-date protocols and participant consent forms Become knowledgeable about projects and protocols; assist in implementation and management Travel to domestic and foreign sites for project/protocol implementation Maintain data logs and specimens Communicate with potential and active research project participants Engage with foreign collaborating investigators across time zones; initiate and maintain correspondence and meetings (web-based and in person) Learn about uveitis, clinical trial methodology, and gain experience with writing, reviewing, and implementing research protocols Participate in ongoing ophthalmology clinical research to gain hands-on experience Required Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training Excellent writing and oral communication skills Attention to detail Ability to read and comprehend complex materials Demonstrated ability and desire to learn; curiosity Familiarity with internet searching Preferred Qualifications
Academic training in biological or social sciences, humanities or bioethics; familiarity with Human Subjects and Animal Care and Use guidelines Proficiency with office equipment and standard office software Knowledge of relevant federal, state, organizational and system policies Conversational skills in Thai and/or Mandarin Chinese About UCSF
