As Chief Medical Officer, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of care at Baptist Health Floyd, a 230 licensed bed acute care located in Southern Indiana, by fostering trusted, collaborative relationships with physicians, hospital executives, and leaders across the organization. You’ll be at the forefront of building a culture of safety and excellence, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care. In this influential role, you will: Drive clinical excellence by partnering with leaders to align strategy, innovation, and operational execution. Champion physician engagement through collaboration, peer review, quality initiatives, and resource stewardship. Serve as the physician voice on the senior leadership team, guiding strategic direction and supporting organizational growth. Enhance community trust by serving as a visible and respected ambassador for Baptist Health Floyd. Education

Board certified physician with current state license, preferably in Indiana. Experience

Minimum of 5 years as a Chief Medical Officer with both clinical and administrative staff leadership experience working within a 230+ licensed bed acute care hospital. Minimum of 3 years related experience in patient quality and safety Experience with CMS, ACHC and or Joint Commission, and other regulatory bodies. Experience in formulation and implementation of clinical practice guidelines and performance improvement activities.
