Summary Job Description: Baptist Health Medical Group is looking for a Director, Physician Contracting to join our Physician Compensation and Acquisition Department. This is a remote position that requires residency preferably in KY or IN. Director Physician Contracting will be responsible for all aspects of physician contracting, which includes three key areas: Physician Contracting Developing the term sheets/compensation offers for contract renewals Review the compensation offers with established physician partners Independently manage the negotiation process with physicians and/or their legal counsel Manage the process for initiating the request and delivery of signature ready agreements

Physician Employment Agreements (New or Renewal) Amendments to Physician Employment Agreements (i.e. call pay, medical directorship, reduced clinical schedule/transition to part time) Professional Service Agreements - Initiate or renew Asset Purchase Agreements (APA) Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) Billing Service Agreement

Physician Recruiting Support Developing the term sheets/compensation offers for new physician candidates Reviewing the compensation offers with new physician candidates Manage the entire contracting process for new physician candidates Includes the review of the employment contract with physician candidate Develop and maintain expertise in recruiting International Medical Graduates (IMG) - immigration/visa waivers/permanent residency – due to limitations in compensation offers, employment contract language and the importance of specificity in approved work location Support for Executive Decision-Making Committees/Internal Workgroups Compensation Committee of BHMG Board, working in collaboration with BHS Legal Team Transaction Review Committee of BHMG Board, working in collaboration with BHS Legal Team Executive Review Committee (ERC) Qualifications: BA/BS in Healthcare or Business-related field; MBA, MHA, CPA strongly preferred. 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in physician alignment strategy. Experience within a multi-hospital health system strongly preferred. Experience with physician contract negotiations is strongly preferred, including working with physician leaders, hospital administrators, medical group governance, and fiscal accountability. Collaboration, problem solving, conflict resolution, and cooperative efforts are imperative in this role.
