Overview
Commercial General Contractor with 50 years of experience in life science, biotech, and advanced technology spaces expanding teams for a leader in Project Management. Compensation
Base pay range: $160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Salary information and additional details are provided by the recruiter during the interview process. Responsibilities
Creates and executes project work plans and makes appropriate revisions to meet changing needs. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Manages day-to-day operation aspects of a project and scope. Manages/executes estimating and pricing aspects of projects, including creating realistic and comprehensive estimates and executing change pricing as needed. Reviews deliverables prepared by the team before passing to client. Applies project management methodology and enforces project standards. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Develops cost-effective plans and schedules to complete projects following a logical resource utilization pattern. Coordinates and selects subcontractors for various phases of the project. Oversees performance of all trade contractors and reviews drawings to ensure specifications and regulations are followed. Administers construction contracts and secures necessary permits and licenses. Supervises staff, reviews reports, addresses difficulties, and corrects safety violations or deficiencies. Identifies elements of design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims. Ensures construction activities move on schedule and align with profitability forecasts; conducts regular status meetings. Manages project accounting, including budget, expenses, and risk mitigation. Maintains adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards. Reports to owners and architects about progress and any required plan modifications. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. 10+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management in the construction industry. Extensive experience with high-end and technical commercial tenant improvements (life science, advanced technology, biotech experience strongly preferred). Experience developing accurate project estimates and pricing reports. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project. About the Employer
