GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT - DATA CENTER CONSTRUCTION A fantastic opportunity to help lead the mission-critical division in Texas on behalf of an acclaimed general contractor. Base pay range $200,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Hamilton Mayer International This General Superintendent role is critical to the successful delivery of a specialized and high-value data center project in the DFW area. The individual must be a seasoned professional with deep expertise in mission-critical construction. Starting salary for this role is anticipated to be in the $200,000 - $225,000 range (package is flexible). I. Core Qualifications & Experience:

Extensive Data Center Experience (Non-Negotiable): Minimum 10-15+ years in large-scale commercial construction, with at least 7-10 years specifically dedicated to mission-critical data center projects. Proven track record of delivering multiple data center projects of similar size (400,000+ SF) and critical IT load (50+ MW). Demonstrated experience with complex mechanical and electrical systems inherent in data centers, including large-scale chillers, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAH units, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, PDUs, and BMS/EPMS. Familiarity with various data center designs. MEPF Expertise: Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, particularly as they relate to data center operations and redundancy. Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot complex MEPF schematics and specifications. Experience managing and coordinating large MEPF trade partners. Structural Knowledge: Solid understanding of structural steel and concrete construction, especially for multi-story industrial buildings and equipment pads designed for heavy loads. Experience with raised floor systems. Project Management Acumen: Proven ability to manage aggressive schedules, strict budgets, and high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and planning skills, including developing and implementing detailed project schedules (e.g., using P6, MS Project). Experience with prefabrication and modular construction techniques common in data centers. Safety Leadership: Demonstrated commitment to a strong safety culture. OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety certifications (e.g., CHST) highly desirable. Proven ability to develop and enforce comprehensive site-specific safety plans. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, CMiC, Aconex), scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project), and standard office software (MS Office Suite). Familiarity with BIM 360 or similar collaborative platforms. Certifications/Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience can substitute for a degree. OSHA 30 would be beneficial. II. Key Responsibilities:

Site Management & Supervision: Oversee all on-site construction activities from ground-breaking to commissioning and closeout. Directly manage and supervise all assistant superintendents, field engineers, and general foremen. Coordinate the work of all subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless integration and adherence to the project schedule and specifications. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with construction documents, quality standards, and safety regulations. Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and enforce the project's master schedule. Identify potential delays and proactively implement mitigation strategies. Lead daily/weekly coordination meetings with trades to track progress and resolve conflicts. Focus on critical path activities, especially related to long-lead equipment and MEPF installations. Quality Control: Implement and enforce a rigorous quality control program to ensure all work meets client specifications and industry standards, particularly for the critical infrastructure. Oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning processes for all systems, especially mechanical, electrical, and controls. Ensure proper documentation of all quality checks and tests. Safety Management: Champion a "safety first" culture on site. Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, conduct regular safety audits, and lead safety meetings. Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Investigate and report all incidents and near misses. Coordination & Communication: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for the Project Manager, client representatives, design team, and subcontractors. Facilitate clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders. Anticipate and resolve field issues, RFIs, and constructability challenges efficiently. Collaborate closely with the Project Manager on budget, change orders, and overall project strategy. Resource Management: Manage site logistics, material flow, and equipment allocation. Optimize manpower and resource utilization on site. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and documentation of all field activities. Manage and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders in coordination with the project team. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on project status, risks, and challenges. III.
