Overview
Our client is a leading global investment firm with over $60bn AUM, investing across equity, growth, and credit strategies. As the firm expands, they are launching a new private equity mid-market strategy focused on tech-enabled and business services, with a particular emphasis on end users in the energy, utilities, and digital infrastructure sectors. We are seeking a Principal to play a key role in shaping and executing this strategy. This is an opportunity to join an ambitious platform at a formative stage, working alongside a high-caliber team and contributing to the build-out of a differentiated investment offering. Key Responsibilities
Lead deal execution across the full investment cycle: origination, diligence, structuring, negotiation, and portfolio management. Develop investment theses in tech-enabled services and business services sectors serving energy, utilities, and digital infrastructure markets. Manage junior team members and actively contribute to their development. Work closely with portfolio company management teams to drive value creation. Partner with senior leadership on the long-term strategy and growth of the mid-market platform. Candidate Profile
7+ years of Private Equity experience with either investment banking or management consulting prior. Strong track record of investing in relevant sectors (tech-enabled services, business services, energy/infra adjacencies). Proven ability to lead transactions and interface directly with management teams, advisors, and co-investors. Highly analytical with exceptional commercial judgment and execution skills.
