Sr. Financial Analyst - Government Accounting and Compliance
at CAES by Honeywell. This role focuses on government compliance and finance for defense and aerospace contracts. Location options: Clearwater, FL; Lansdale, PA; Phoenix, AZ; San Diego, CA; or San Jose, CA. No relocation offered. Responsibilities
Analyze and prepare annual Incurred Cost Proposals and forward pricing rate proposals; review unallowable costs; be the primary interface with the DCAA audit of these proposals. Prepare regular Rate Monitorship Reports, including variance analysis, data analytics, and trending. Support time charging activities, reinforcing internal controls and labor compliance. Support SAP Rate Maintenance and Validation for Aerospace CAS Compliant Segments. Support cross-functional Government Compliance and Finance matters, enhancing awareness through training, preparing white papers, and testing internal controls. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, with emphasis in Accounting or Finance. Five or more years of accounting/financial analysis experience. US Person status or eligibility for approval under a U.S. Government export license; access to technology and materials controlled by US export laws. Preferred
Strong SAP experience. Strong Excel and Outlook skills. Experience with FAR, CAS and U.S. Government Compliance is desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills. CPA and/or Government Contract Accounting considered a plus. Strong financial and business analysis, problem solving, and teamwork abilities. Independent, self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions. Six Sigma certification or training preferred. Salary
Base Salary: $105,000/year to $135,000/year. Actual pay may vary based on location, function, education, and experience. Benefits & Employment Transparency
