Responsibilities
Design & Document Solutions: Architect enterprise-level systems and integration strategies that align with agency objectives and modernization goals.
Lead Strategic Planning: Evaluate business needs, assess existing systems, and drive development of scalable, secure, and sustainable IT solutions.
Facilitate Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment, minimize risk, and optimize user experience.
Governance & Best Practices: Oversee implementation of architectural standards, including security, testing, documentation, and compliance protocols.
Qualifications
Extensive Experience: 10+ years of enterprise architecture and infrastructure planning, with 14+ years total in IT environments.
Strong Technical Background: Skilled in modern development tools (e.g., SQL, Visual Studio), data integration, system modeling, and Windows Server platforms.
Business & Soft Skills: Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business value; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Education & Clearance Ready: Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience; must be eligible for SSA/IRS federal security clearance and reside within 1 hour of Topeka, KS.

$95,000 - $104,000
