As a Relationship Manager in Global Supplier Services, you will be a member of the BRM team, reporting to the Head of Banking Relationship Management. This role will be critical in maximizing JPM’s third party spend to unlock commercial value for Banking and the lines of business.
Job Responsibilities
Drive holistic decision making around sourcing deals that optimize both the cost and delivery management objectives of JPMC as well as banking relationships Develop and execute strategy to grow and/ or protect existing client relationships and develop new Regularly participate alongside bankers in Banking meetings and help arrange connectivity with others in the bank who can help add value for the company Contribute to Banking’s relationship management efforts, which includes but is not limited to facilitating remediation of any supply side issues and escalations and facilitating knowledge sharing sessions for clients Compile and create company insights and relationship briefings for leadership (incl. C-suite) Perform all responsibilities in line with established policies and procedures agreed with Legal and Compliance. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor’s degree 10+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally coupled with a mix of banking, sourcing, business development and/or relationship management experience Superior communication, presentation and collaboration skills Confident personality – Strength in character and intellect to gain the respect of demanding stakeholders, but with collaborative and participative working style Professionalism, sensitivity, discretion and decision-making skills allied with interaction at senior levels Creative problem solving skills, plus experience dealing with complex challenges Ability to navigate politically sensitive situations achieving win-win outcomes Professionalism, sensitivity, discretion and sound decision-making skills and ability to operate in a complex, global and federated environment Self-starter, with ability to pay attention to detail and ability to operate through ambiguity, prioritize and multitask well under pressure Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
