What you’ll do

Design and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices Write clean, testable, and efficient code across the software stack Partner with product managers, frontend engineers, DevOps, and data teams to design robust and performant systems Own key parts of the backend architecture and contribute to its long-term evolution Review code, mentor junior engineers, and help raise the engineering bar across teams Improve performance, reliability, and observability of existing systems Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to release Participate in on-call rotation and respond to issues that arise Who you are

3+ years of experience building backend systems in production environments Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++) Experience with distributed systems, RESTful APIs, service-oriented architecture, and databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) Strong understanding of systems design, data structures, and algorithms Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and contribute to backend architecture discussions Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset Willingness to work from an assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week Equal Opportunity
