Head of US Federal, Aerospace, and Defense for Digital Industries Siemens is looking for a leader to develop and implement strategic initiatives within the U.S. Federal Agencies, Aerospace, and Defense sectors for Digital Industries, driving profit, growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. The role requires adaptive leadership to engage teams and stakeholders, fostering trust, collaboration, and diversity as a priority. Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the FA&D business unit, deploying Siemens\' portfolio and automation solutions across the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, other Federal Agencies (e.g., DOT, DHS), and major A&D OEMs and commercial aerospace customers Strategically lead and empower multiple sales teams, fostering development and ensuring accountability for results Develop and execute market strategies for the DoD and A&D sectors, coordinating with business development, government affairs, federal sales teams and A&D OEM coverage Analyze FA&D markets to identify threats and opportunities; recommend and implement strategic adjustments Drive growth opportunity assessments and coordinate with internal stakeholders to screen potential opportunities Build relationships with customers and regional sales, execution, and marketing organizations to translate customer needs into actionable requirements Provide thought leadership focusing on end-users in the FA&D sectors Oversee and grow the FA&D business segment Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience selling large strategic enterprise solutions to the DoD with ability to navigate complex sales cycles, or equivalent large OEM customer sales experience Strong history of quota achievement over career 5+ years of demonstrated experience in relevant Information Technology/Operational Technology markets Experience with government contracting and contract vehicles Executive leadership, negotiating, and influencing skills Excellent public speaking, written, and oral communication skills Strong organizational abilities and strategic thinking capabilities Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship (mandatory due to DoD client policies and procedures) Preferred Qualifications
Military background (advantageous for understanding the industry we serve) Minimum of 8 years of experience leading, motivating and developing effective sales teams 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience Experience with Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and Salesforce.com Demonstrated ability to get results in complex customer environments Proven ability in identifying vertical market opportunities and commercializing solutions About Siemens

The pay range for this position is 156,450 - 268,200 annually with a target incentive of 46% of base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
