Responsibilities
Provide advice and counsel related to corporate governance, investor relations, and equity-related matters
Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret commercial agreements to support the employer's businesses
Assist with corporate and securities transactions, including capital markets and M&A transactions
Draft Current Reports on Form 8-K and review periodic reports (10-Qs and 10-Ks) for compliance
Help build scalable and effective processes for legal review and launch of new products
Qualifications
J.D. and membership with at least one state bar
3+ years combined relevant experience in a top law firm, government agency, and/or in-house legal team
Strong communication and research skills
Proven record of hands-on contract drafting and negotiations
Self-starter attitude with the ability to take ownership of projects
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with capital markets transactions is a plus
Strong record of practical business judgment
