GENERAL FUNCTION: Provide leadership in the pitching and execution of M&A and Strategic Advisory engagements while supporting IB's Sr. Managing Director in day-to-day management of the team's Associates and Analysts to ensure that junior resources are allocated appropriately across the groups' projects and that high-priority projects receive appropriate attention. The Principal, Investment Banking, will play a leadership role in the evolution and development of the group’s modeling and analytical capabilities; with limited supervision, responsible for ensuring that the team creates and delivers high-quality analysis and materials. For IB M&A and Strategic Advisory engagements, the Principal, Investment Banking, will be the point person in creating high-impact pitch materials and will run the execution process including the creation of financial models, CIM and other materials, and regular contact with our client and the list of qualified buyers. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
