GENERAL FUNCTION:
Provide leadership in the pitching and execution of M&A and Strategic Advisory engagements while supporting the IB's Sr. Managing Director in managing the team's Associates and Analysts. Ensure proper resource allocation and focus on high-priority projects. Play a key role in developing the group's modeling and analytical capabilities, creating high-quality analysis and materials, and leading the creation of pitch materials, financial models, CIM, and client communication. Risk Management:
Responsible for risk by following policies, raising concerns, and ensuring actions drive positive customer experiences. Operate within the Bank's risk appetite, identifying, assessing, and managing risks effectively. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluate complex financial models and perform financial analysis. Create impactful presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc. Collaborate effectively in a high-stress environment. Build relationships within Capital Markets and across the organization. Manage multiple high-priority opportunities simultaneously. Apply credit and corporate finance knowledge to IB projects. Support Managing Directors and represent IB in presentations. Interact independently with key stakeholders during M&A or Strategic Advisory projects. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise daily activities of IB Associates and Analysts, provide performance feedback, develop talent, and recognize achievements. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
7-10 years of experience in Banking, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets. Strong corporate finance and credit skills. Proven success in originating and closing complex financial transactions. Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills. Effective interaction with senior executives. Industry expertise. BA/BS in Finance/Accounting/Economics; MBA preferred. Securities licenses: Series 79 and Series 63. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
