The Vice President of Corporate Finance and IT will be a key member of Best Bath Systems’ executive leadership team, responsible for driving the company’s financial strategy, growth planning, risk management, corporate financing, and technology enablement initiatives. This role not only oversees all core financial functions, including accounting, FP&A, banking relationships, and financial reporting—but also holds executive ownership over the IT department. The VP will provide leadership and strategic direction for major IT initiatives, ERP systems, and enterprise-wide technology integration, ensuring that business systems effectively support the company’s operational and growth objectives. Strategic Financial Planning and Leadership
Develop and lead long-range financial forecasts and strategic financial planning. Partner with the President and executive team on corporate strategy, growth initiatives, investment opportunities, and operational improvements. Oversee the FP&A function, ensuring alignment between financial outcomes and business strategy. Provide high-level reporting and financial insights to ownership and the Advisory Board, shaping key decisions and long-term success. Capital Structure, Banking, and Treasury
Manage and strengthen relationships with banks, lenders, and financial institutions. Oversee debt management, capital structure optimization, and treasury operations to ensure adequate liquidity and support strategic initiatives. Evaluate financing options and ensure effective risk management practices. Financial Reporting and Performance Management
Present accurate, timely financial results and strategic recommendations to the executive team and Advisory Board. Collaborate with operational leaders to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and drive accountability. Provide scenario modeling, variance analysis, and data-driven insights to guide business decisions. Mergers, Acquisitions, and Partnerships
Lead financial due diligence, modeling, and analysis for potential M&A, partnership, or joint venture opportunities. Oversee post-transaction integration efforts to ensure financial and operational alignment. Risk Management and Compliance
Identify financial risks and develop robust mitigation strategies. Ensure adequate insurance coverage, compliance with regulatory requirements, and strong corporate governance practices. Leadership and Team Development
Lead and develop the finance organization, including direct supervision of the Controller, FP&A, and treasury functions. Foster a collaborative, cross-functional leadership approach across all areas of the company. IT Strategy and Ownership
Provide executive ownership over the IT department, ensuring alignment of technology strategy with business goals. Oversee key value-added IT projects, including ERP system optimization, software upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and digital initiatives that drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage. Shape and lead the company’s ERP strategy, ensuring effective configuration, utilization, and integration with key business processes across departments. Champion the integration of business systems, ensuring seamless data flow, enhanced reporting capabilities, and improved decision-making tools. Collaborate with IT leaders to prioritize technology investments, manage budgets, mitigate cyber and data risks, and ensure technology readiness to support growth and innovation. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or similar advanced credential strongly preferred). 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction-related industries. Proven leadership in shaping long-term banking strategies, managing high-value lending relationships, and negotiating financial terms aligned with corporate objectives. Experience with capital structure optimization, M&A, and growth planning. Demonstrated success in overseeing technology teams, IT operations, and major IT projects, including ERP systems and enterprise-wide integrations. Strong understanding of how to leverage business systems and technology to improve operational effectiveness, reporting, and decision support. Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills with a hands-on, collaborative management style. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and drive cross-functional alignment. Work Environment & Travel
Work is performed primarily in an office environment with moderate noise level. The employee in this class is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Position requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, which permits the employee to function in a general office environment to accomplish tasks. Constantly requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours and ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Constantly requires clarity of speech and hearing, which permits the employee to communicate effectively.
