Company Summary: Looking for an immediate hire to work with a leading Structural Engineering company based in Seattle, Washington. This position is an opportunity to work on complex structural projects within healthcare facilities, educational and commercial buildings. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for: Draft, design, and develop plans for projects, prepare construction documents, and lead design tasks across commercial high-rise projects. Perform preliminary wind load designs, research alternative products, review building codes, and contribute to advanced design opportunities as assigned. Assist with construction administration, including field visits, addressing RFIs, and generating revisions, while maintaining direct communication with clients and contractors. Track project progress using management software, maintain logs, and provide regular updates to clients. Apply expertise in seismic design, including analysis and detailing for lateral systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Conduct peer reviews for nonlinear analysis, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and compliance with performance-based design methodologies. The Structural Engineer should have the following qualifications: 8+ years of experience in structural engineering or related field Experience with seismic design PE Licensed in Washington SE Licensed in Washington Engineering Bachelor's degree required Engineering Master's degree preferred Technical skills: experience with Revit or AutoCAD Overtime pay available Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Seniority level
