$124,800 to $135,200 annually, plus benefits This role is exclusively for direct hires on W2 and is not open to C2C or third-party arrangements. Responsibilities
Validate datacenter-class SSDs/HDDs for Azure server platforms. Develop, automate, and execute test plans to assess performance, reliability, and compliance. Apply knowledge of storage protocols (PCIe, NVMe, SAS, SATA, SCSI) in validation environments. Design and implement test scripts in C/C++ and Python for automated validation workflows. Perform white-box testing, stress testing, and performance benchmarking at scale. Debug hardware and firmware issues using tools such as PCIe analyzers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes. Utilize OakGate or SANBlaze test appliances to simulate workloads and validate device compliance. Interpret specifications, develop detailed test procedures, and deliver validation reports. Collaborate with Microsoft Azure platform and operations teams to integrate validated devices into production environments. Key Qualifications
Understanding of storage protocols (PCIe, NVMe, SAS, SATA, SCSI). Proven software and script development skills: C/C++ Programming, Python Scripting ( must have ). Experience with SSD/HDD validation, performance testing and white-box testing. Ability to understand specs, develop test procedures, and execute them. Debugging skills; familiar with PCIe analyzers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. Knowledge of OakGate or SANBlaze test appliances is a plus. Other Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Experience in SSD/HDD validation, preferably in datacenter or enterprise environments. Hands-on experience with test appliances and debugging tools. Familiarity with datacenter-scale validation methodologies and performance testing. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate across hardware, firmware, and cloud engineering teams. More About Your Role
