The General Manager (GM) will be the operational architect of our business. This leader will help build, refine, and oversee our first operational footprint, helping to create the playbook that will guide future acquisitions and new market launches. The GM will be responsible for full P&L ownership, daily operations, customer experience, and team leadership. This role requires a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader with strong business acumen, operational discipline, and the ability to scale processes across multiple geographies. What You’ll Do

Operational Leadership

Build, manage, and refine the first operational model/playbook for the business, ensuring scalability and repeatability. Oversee day-to-day operations, including sales of territory, project management, installation, and customer service. Drive operational efficiency, safety, and quality across all service offerings. Blueprint Creation & Expansion

Document best practices, workflows, and systems to create the operational playbook for future acquisitions and new locations. Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational standards with company vision and growth strategy. Serve as a key partner during acquisitions, ensuring new businesses can quickly adopt the established playbook. Financial & Business Management

Take full ownership of the P&L, including revenue growth, cost control, and profitability. Set and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance KPIs. Implement systems for reporting, accountability, and continuous improvement. Team Leadership

Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing local team. Foster a people-first culture that prioritizes safety, collaboration, and customer satisfaction. Develop future leaders who can replicate success in new territories. Customer & Market Focus

Ensure delivery of an unmatched customer experience across all projects. Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners in the community. Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. What We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Construction Management, or related field (MBA preferred). 7 years of progressive leadership experience in home services, construction, or outdoor living industries. Proven success leading full P&L responsibility for a business unit or division. Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes and operational playbooks. Experience in high-growth environments, ideally with acquisitions or multi-location expansion. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on execution, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
