Position Overview
Our client is a rapidly growing automotive services company committed to delivering operational excellence across all locations. With a focus on innovation, service quality, and customer satisfaction, they are launching their own Training Academy — an integrated training platform designed to elevate the skills and performance of our sales teams, customer service representatives, technicians, and operational staff. This leader will play a pivotal role in building a culture of continuous learning and capability development across the organization. Reporting directly to the COO, the Head of L&D will partner with business leaders to ensure training programs drive sales growth, customer service excellence, technical proficiency, and operational consistency across all locations. Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
Design and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for their training Academy. Establish scalable learning frameworks that align with business goals and operational priorities. Partner with executive leadership to identify skill gaps and create workforce development strategies. Program Development & Execution
Build and deliver training programs for sales, customer service, technicians, and operations. Introduce blended learning approaches Develop certification programs to standardize technical and operational excellence. Ensure training content is continuously updated to reflect evolving industry best practices. Operational Excellence
Implement KPIs and measurement tools to track training effectiveness and ROI. Oversee the rollout of training programs across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and scalability. Build and manage a team of trainers and facilitators to execute programs at scale. Technology & Innovation
Select and manage learning platforms, tools, and content delivery technologies. Introduce innovative methods (e.g., simulations, gamification, microlearning) to improve engagement and retention. Culture & Engagement
Foster a culture of professional growth, continuous learning, and internal career development. Champion L&D initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and retention. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Organizational Effectiveness. Proven track record of building and scaling training academies or enterprise-level learning programs. Experience supporting diverse functions (sales, customer service, operations, and technical roles). Strong business acumen with the ability to align training strategies to operational goals. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and implement learning technologies. Exceptional communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
