The Anderson Area YMCA, a community-focused organization dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, seeks a purpose-driven leader to serve as Chief Executive Officer. This is an opportunity to guide a mission-driven organization that is a vital part of the community. The YMCA is led by a Board of Directors and supported by a dedicated staff, including 17 full-time and 150 part-time employees. The CEO will drive the organization’s mission, expand reach, deepen impact, foster relationships with partners and donors, and ensure safety, compliance, and program quality especially for youth and families. Founded in 1888 and chartered in 1949, the Anderson Area YMCA serves as a community cornerstone with programs across youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Y serves over 12,000 members and participants annually and emphasizes Christian values. Total Membership Heads: 12,353 Total Membership Units: 6,991 Membership mix: Youth 1%, Adults 8%, Household 32%, Senior 59% Three locations: Family Wellness Center (201 East Reed Road, 29621), YMCA Sports Park (1939 Evergreen Road, 29621), Camp Venture at Lake Hartwell (178 Green Tree Road, 29625). Facilities include fitness, aquatics, gymnasiums, fields, camp facilities, and programs across core areas. Residency

Candidate is expected to live in the Anderson area. Qualifications

Accredited 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience Fiscally sound management of budgets >$5 million annually Minimum seven years in a senior management role with YMCA or related experience and supervision of multiple staff levels Salary and Benefits

Salary range:

$110,000 – $160,000 YMCA Retirement Plan – 12% employer contribution after eligibility 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan – Eligible on first day Paid time off: Vacation (1 day per month, up to 9 days in year 1), Personal days (4 per year), Sick leave (1 day per month, up to 45 days) Health insurance – 80% employer-paid, 20% employee-paid; stipend if coverage not offered Mobile phone service provided through Verizon Search Process Target Dates
