Overview
Kärcher North America (KNA) is seeking a visionary and results‑oriented Vice President to lead our R&D, Engineering, and Project Management teams in North America. This critical leadership role will be instrumental in driving innovation, enhancing product development processes, and ensuring market leadership within our commercial and retail manufacturing sectors, including Professional Floor Care, Professional Pressure Washers, or other similar industrial equipment. The position reports directly to the CEO. Base pay range
$180,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus Responsibilities
Lead and manage R&D, Engineering, and Project Management teams across Monterrey and Denver locations. Develop and implement strategic product development roadmaps that align with business objectives and market demands, specifically for Professional Floor Care, Professional Pressure Washers, and other industrial equipment. Foster a culture of innovation, challenging the status quo and promoting continuous improvement in product design and development across all product lines. Introduce and implement best-in-class processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize development project timelines and efficiency for all product sectors. Drive the successful execution of all product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring high quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery, especially for Professional Floor Care, Professional Pressure Washers, and industrial equipment. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure product alignment with market needs and customer expectations in all relevant sectors. Identify and implement new technologies and solutions to enhance product performance and competitive advantage across the Professional Floor Care, Professional Pressure Washers, and industrial equipment segments. Qualifications
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in commercial and retail manufacturing, with a strong focus on R&D, Engineering, and Project Management leadership, particularly within Professional Floor Care, Professional Pressure Washers, or similar industrial equipment sectors such as material handling equipment. Proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring large, multidisciplinary engineering and project management teams. Demonstrated ability to introduce and implement improved processes and tools that accelerate development projects and drive innovation. Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agile development methodologies. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a passion for challenging the status quo. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field; master’s degree preferred. Benefits
