What to Expect
Support and enhance high-quality software modules for the employer\'s product suite
Analyze and resolve software-related issues from internal or external customers
Document specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production rollout
Mentor other developers and contribute to continuous improvement in software development practices
Communicate technical and operational issues to engineering and business leadership in a timely manner
Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
4-5 years of industry experience, including at least 2 years of healthcare data experience
Proficiency with SQL query optimization and tuning, stored procedures, and triggers
Experience with programming languages such as Java or Python and third-party platforms like Appian and Cloudera Hadoop
Strong knowledge of databases including Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, and Hive
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with SAFe agile practices
Experience working with large datasets
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Curiosity and eagerness to learn new methodologies and tools in data analysis
