Overview
MicroHealth is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator. The Senior Systems Administrator will lead the contract supporting day-to-day operations and maintenance for the Government IT infrastructure, which includes customized government off-the-shelf(COTS) applications, security applications and supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Install new software releases, system upgrades, patches, and resolve software-related problems
Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures
Monitor system configurations to ensure data integrity
Recommend and help define policies and protocols for efficient operations and improved system integrity
Develop and maintain technical documents, including internal policies, procedures, and build instructions
Create and maintain scripts to automate work processes for improved efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
Collaborate with IT team members to implement technology solutions
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in systems administration or related area
Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within systems administration
Experience with system backup and recovery procedures
Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
Creativity and latitude in approaching technical challenges
Required Certifications
AWS Solution Architect Associate
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
AWS Solution Architect Professional
Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee may lift or move objects up to 5 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
