Overview

Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, seeks a motivated commercial litigation associate with at least two years of experience to join its Washington, D.C. office. Candidates should have experience at a regional, national, or well-respected local law firm. Excellent writing, oral advocacy skills, and strong academic credentials are required. Judicial clerkship or court experience is a plus. Responsibilities

Significant responsibility for pleadings, motions, and briefing on complex matters

Proficiency in handling e-discovery and fact development

Confidence to tackle complex fact, legal, and logistical issues with foresight

Strategic and analytical thinking

Qualifications

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, maturity, a willingness to learn, and the ability to manage a challenging workload across high-stakes litigation, arbitration, and trial work. The firm values a commitment to exceptional client service and seeks candidates who share that dedication. Qualified applicants must have at least two years of commercial litigation experience and an active law license in the applicable jurisdiction or be eligible for admission. Compensation and Benefits

Attorney compensation includes a base salary plus discretionary merit-based bonuses. The salary range for this position is $195,000 – $235,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
