Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and customizing financial systems: Aderant Expert, iTimekeep, INTAPP Open, Chrome River and others. Develop, support and maintain firm\'s prebill and bill formats via Aderant\'s DocuDraft tool. Initiate/monitor all interfaces between financial databases and systems. Modify financial systems\' front-end and back-end (database) as necessary. Participate in month-end closing activities (able to work at night at least once every three months). Assist with testing new customizations, software releases and upgrades. Act as a liaison between Finance and IT, software vendors, and other 3rd party consulting service providers, with detailed specifications defining needed customizations or new initiatives. Extract and provide data from the database to business partners. Provide Help Desk support for financial systems and troubleshoot issues as necessary. Create documentation to track all aspects of financial systems projects. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer systems, finance, accounting or a related field. Minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience; minimum of 1 to 3 years of Aderant experience preferred. Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio skill is a must; Experience with Aderant Expert preferred. SSRS, SSIS and VBA knowledge is a plus. Basic understanding of various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Advanced proficiency and extensive experience in Microsoft Excel; strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate detailed and complex information to others. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing priorities; ability to work independently and within a team. Strong service orientation and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with users, peers, office and firm management, and outside partners. Ability to work well under pressure, facilitate solutions, and meet deadlines and milestones for assigned projects. Commitment to the firm and to professional growth and development; strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills; team player, problem solver and quick learner.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position in Washington, DC is $95,000 to $115,000. The anticipated base salary range for this position in New York is $95,000 to $120,000. The actual salary offered will be based on several factors, including education, qualifications, years of relevant experience, certifications, skills, business needs, and location. Salary may be part of a total compensation package including health benefits, 401(k) eligibility, discretionary bonus, and paid time off.
