Senior Tax Accountant
to their team. They require visiting the office once per quarter, and Florida candidates are highly preferred. There is an opportunity to become a manager in the future. The team has a great collaborative environment and a lot of support. Salary/Hourly Rate: $85k - $100k Position Overview
The Senior Tax Accountant will be preparing and filing various tax returns and handling compliance and accounting for corporate income taxes. Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Accountant
The Senior Tax Accountant will prepare and file multi-state, federal, and state tax returns for C-Corporations and partnerships, including extensions and estimated payments. Prepare federal and state consolidated tax returns and interface with corporate operating companies. Identify, research, and resolve tax issues. Perform corporate income tax functions, compliance, planning, and accounting. Calculate tax basis and implications of proposed transactions. Handle voluntary disclosures. The Tax Accountant will analyze tax accounts and maintain communication with tax authorities. Continuously research and stay updated with current tax laws and regulations. Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Tax Accountant
Minimum 2 years of Tax experience at another public accounting/CPA firm. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Tax Accountant
Highly analytical and strong communication skills. Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. Benefits
