Designing academic frameworks that transform learning science into actionable insights for curricula, motivational systems, and app development. Orchestrating academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and exceptional outcomes in school teams. Analyzing data, conducting interviews, and observing to create ecosystem reviews that identify key barriers to accelerated learning and propose effective interventions. Ensuring strategic cohesion through meticulous planning, feedback mechanisms, and milestone tracking, with a relentless focus on student achievement goals. Advocating for 2 Hour Learning on prestigious platforms, from keynote speeches to high-level meetings with educational ministries, driving a paradigm shift in educational perspectives. What You Won’t Be Doing
Working on isolated curriculum projects without aiming for systemic transformation. Publishing theoretical research disconnected from student outcomes or practical application. Shifting performance accountability to middle management or external consultants. Leaning solely on brand prestige or theoretical arguments to convince doubters. Director Of Learning Strategy Key Responsibilities
Lead the expansion of 2 Hour Learning’s acclaimed academic model by harmonizing execution across schools, elevating leadership standards, and becoming the movement’s public advocate, all grounded in solid scientific research and real-world achievements. Basic Requirements
Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related discipline. Over seven years of experience leading academic or EdTech teams, demonstrating outstanding learning outcomes. Demonstrated expertise in applying AI or technology to enhance learning. Proven public thought leadership experience through media, keynote speaking, publications, or advisory roles. Strong skills in performance management, capable of holding top-tier peers to high standards. Proficient in data analysis to diagnose learning challenges and guide interventions. Adept at engaging directly with students, parents, and educational leaders. Nice-to-have Requirements
Experience founding or leading innovative school models, lab schools, or successful EdTech ventures. Background in navigating diverse cultural, political, or international educational contexts. Extensive knowledge of Bloom’s 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks. About 2 Hour Learning
