Director, Software Engineering

The primary responsibility is business development (hunting new clients and building relationships with existing clients) and partnering with industry teams to generate new business and pursue opportunities to drive sales across the practice with a focus on software and integration. You will also own client relationships, lead engagements, ensure high client satisfaction, and support the growth of capabilities and offerings. Responsibilities

Business Development: Lead and/or collaborate with industry teams and key accounts on account planning and executing plans for account growth; leverage executive relationships to secure meetings and generate new business at target accounts; identify opportunities, design solutions, develop proposals/SOWs, establish delivery models, and help close deals; develop GTM messaging and sales materials; create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments; contribute to thought leadership; attend networking events and build a professional network; identify impactful partnerships and collaborate with the partnerships team. Client Leadership: Provide depth in imagining, designing, and building bespoke digital products; lead software modernization or modern integration platform engagements; deliver AI-enabled software products and act as a trusted executive advisor to senior client executives; oversee delivery as engagement lead with executive presence; conduct frequent client check-ins to ensure value realization; develop accelerators addressing industry-specific challenges. Practice Development: Collaborate with national Technology and Experience leaders and cross-practice teams to evangelize, develop, and deliver data-driven software and integration offerings; enhance delivery capabilities across practice areas. Qualifications

12+ years in a high-growth, client-facing digital and/or global business and technology consulting environment, including direct experience selling and delivering digital software engineering and integration advisory services to executive-level buyers Domain expertise in digital product, software engineering, modernization, modern integration platforms, and AI-enabled products and agents Proven track record selling to Fortune 1000/enterprise and upper mid-market clients; success in closing multi-million dollar deals annually Experience hunting, farming, and closing large-scale product engineering opportunities with on-shore/near-shore delivery Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong coordination of sales processes Product/engineering market experience in one or more of these industries: High-Tech & Software, Private Equity, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Consumer & Industrial Products Expertise in sales strategy, business development, pricing, account management, sales operations, and bringing new products/services to market Strong communication skills with C-level clients Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience Ability to travel as required; in-person presence three days a week is preferred, with flexibility as schedules allow Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges are provided per location and are part of a competitive total rewards package, including bonuses, benefits, and equity potential where applicable. Salaries are determined by geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity; geographic premiums may apply for certain offices.
