Overview
Looking for a motivated electrical engineer with a focus in embedded hardware to design the next generation of boards for Lunar Energy’s products. An ideal candidate is enthusiastic and ready to collaborate with a dedicated, cross-functional team to create innovative, best-in-class products starting with home energy storage systems. Engineers at Lunar are hands-on, comfortable with both simulation and real hardware, and able to carry product development from the concept stage through high-volume production. Design and develop digital electronics, analog electronics, and small power supplies for various components of our home energy system. Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, EMC, RF, design validation, thermal design, compliance, reliability, and manufacturing test engineers. Perform bring-up and debugging of new boards. Own the circuit board electronics end-to-end – from specification through design, prototype, validation, and manufacturing. Contribute to product-level features and design vision leveraging experience and creativity. Qualifications
MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated ability. At least 3–5 years of relevant work experience. Experience designing digital communication buses (CAN, Ethernet, RS-485, USB, SPI, I2C, etc.) and hands-on debugging of communication buses. Experience in selection and design of analog sensors and signal conditioning circuits. Experience with high-speed signals design (DDR, eMMC, Ethernet, USB) or strong desire to learn high-speed signal design. Benefits at a glance

Our Compensation Philosophy: Our goal is to ensure that all Lunar Energy employees are fairly compensated. The salary range information provided for this position is a good faith estimate for California applicants: $135,000 - $185,000 USD, depending on level of experience. The actual offer will reflect total compensation and be at the company’s sole discretion, determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
