CommonSpirit Health . Location: Phoenix, AZ (as listed in the original description). This role is part of the Barrow Neurological Foundation development staff and reports to the President and Chief Philanthropy Officer of the Barrow Neurological Foundation. Responsibilities

Responsible for successfully managing a portfolio of 100 individual and foundation donors and prospects. Secure major gifts of $10,000 or more, with a focus on six figure+ gifts utilizing numerous, different giving vehicles. Cultivate new prospects through the creation of effective donor management strategies. Effectively move a portfolio of prospects through the complete giving cycle of validation/qualification, engagement, cultivation, solicitation, gift negotiation and stewardship. Ability to utilize a CRM system to track and cultivate donors and prospects. Manage the ongoing relationship and stewardship of major donors including the proper execution of pledge programs, reporting and tracking of progress towards the donor’s intent. Integrate with physicians and researchers at Ivy Brain Tumor Center to understand critical funding needs and translate those needs into compelling narratives that attract funding. Lead in the creation of proposals and grants for prospect meetings and solicitations. Prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. Proficient in discussing legacy giving or estate planning with donors. Superior strategic and analytic thinking ability with strong creative problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication. Experience working with Board members, volunteers, donors and other external constituencies. Qualifications

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum Experience Required

Minimum five (5) years of not-for-profit fundraising and development experience. Three (3) to five (5) years' direct work experience as a fundraising professional with a major gift portfolio. Preferred Education, Certifications And Skills

Master's Degree in a related field. Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). Demonstrated accomplishments in healthcare and/or research fundraising. Benefits
