Bilingual Technical BD & Sales Professional

to join our team. Responsibilities

Set by division goals, the Technical BD & Sales Professional implements short- and long-range plans including objectives and strategies to maximize market potential and sales volume at both existing and new accounts. Identify potential new customers within the defined OEM market segment and region, qualify and develop them to achieve new business sales in line with company strategy. Proactively engage with existing customers within the defined OEM market segments and region in all activities to maximize sales and organic growth. Be the "Face of the company"; lead new development projects by proactive contact with prospects or customers, and VPG R&D, Engineering, QA and other parties to ensure timely and successful project completion. Manage development projects from conception to completion. Negotiate contracts, meet with purchasing and other key decision makers to establish firm and profitable customer relationships. Analyze and report key sales and project management data and forecast future expectations for the region. Education / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business / Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical / Electronics / Electromechanical) Bilingual in Spanish / English 10+ years of experience in sales and business development of Industrial Automation products / sensors (weighing, force) to OEMs (Packaging, Robotics, Medical, Machine Builders, Construction, Agriculture, etc.) Significant experience in sales of technical products Strong business/finance background and experience Knowledge of commercial transactional processes involved with sales Previous experience negotiating multi-year contracts with large, global OEMs Excellent communication and presentation skills Benefits
