Overview
Center for Change Orem is seeking a Full-time Business Office Director. Scheduling for this position is business hours: 8:00-5:00pm M-F, 40 hours per week. This is an in-office, non-remote position. The Business Office Director role is directly involved in billing operations and supervision of the billing team. Thus, experience with medical billing is crucial for this role. The Business Office Director reports directly to the CFO and is responsible to ensure the efficient operation of the business office, including: Responsibilities
Ensuring the accurate, timely, and consistent performance of all functions related to patient accounting: patient account maintenance, billing, and collection management. Hiring and supervising billing coordinators. Ensuring the department is adhering to all insurance, state/federal, and corporate guidelines. Collaborating with other departments as needed to ensure the facility is able to collect payment for services rendered to residents. Providing accurate and timely reporting of collection, denials, and accounts receivable statistics as needed by management. Facilitating weekly AR meetings. Note: Training for this position will be onsite at Copper Hills Youth Center, 5899 W Rivendell Drive, West Jordan, UT 84088, for the first 30 days of work. After training, primary work location is Center for Change Orem (1790 N State Street, Orem UT); occasional weekly onsite presence at Copper Hills Youth Center is required. About Center for Change
Center for Change is a 60-bed healthcare facility dedicated to helping individuals recover from eating disorders, including anorexia and bulimia. The Center is respected for its programs, progressive outlook, and for its major contributions in research and treatment in the field of eating disorders. Salary
$75,000-$90,000, dependent upon experience. Benefits for full-time employees

Managerial or supervisory experience required (3-5 years) Medical billing experience (3-5 years) Bachelor Degree Required, Master Degree Preferred Time Management: flexible and able to assess the priorities of the department on a daily basis. Ability to complete all tasks accurately and timely within tight timeframes and meet attendance guidelines. Communication (including written) and analytical skills: ability to work as a positive team member and compose professional documentation/appeals and provide efficient justifications based on data analysis. Proficient with Excel, Word, and computers Basic understanding of medical terminology, insurance terminology, and billing standards; experience with health insurance billing/collection is highly preferred. All Center for Change staff must be able to pass a criminal history background check
